We are pleased to announce that ADE has been selected by the African Development Bank (AfDB) to conduct the “Study on Realizing a Prosperous, Integrated and Resilient West Africa.”

Starting in January 2026 and expected to be completed in summer 2026, this study, commissioned by the African Natural Resources Management & Investment Centre of the AfDB, will explore how West Africa can boost sustainable growth by strengthening value creation in natural resources and accelerating regional integration through resilient economic corridors. The study will also contribute to the Bank’s strategy for the countries of the West Africa Region.

The study will assess the potential of major economic corridors to enhance trade, competitiveness, inclusion, and climate resilience across the region, and will provide strategic roadmaps, investment opportunities, and key recommendations to support the region’s long-term development.

A special focus will be placed on the countries of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES): Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.
