Exciting News! ADE has been selected by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) to lead the final evaluation of the PRISMA project — Project for Research and Innovation for Productive, Resilient and Healthy Agro-Pastoral Systems in West Africa.
Implemented from January 2022 by Enabel, LuxDev, and AECID in Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, PRISMA is part of the DeSIRA initiative, funded by the European Union, which supports climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural transformation through research and innovation.
This evaluation will assess PRISMA’s implementation performance and examine the project’s design, with a focus on inter-agency collaboration and partnerships between research institutions and development actors. It will also identify key enablers and obstacles, extract lessons learned, and provide concrete recommendations to strengthen the relevance, coherence, and effectiveness of current and future activities—particularly within the upcoming DeSIRA+ framework.
