Empowering women and youth is an effective pathway to addressing poverty and education, and to building more inclusive societies. At ADE, we systematically incorporate a gender-sensitive approach in our evaluations.
ADE has experience in conducting thematic evaluations focusing on policies to prevent gender-based violence and the marginalisation of women impacted by humanitarian crisis and displacements. ADE has also developed expertise to evaluate women empowerment indicators impacted through different types of programmes such as entrepreneurial support for women and access to water.
ADE is involved in projects focused on renewing education for the 21st century with partner organisation such as UNICEF and UNESCO. Consulting services range from accompanying large organisations in the education industry in adjusting their strategies for the new skills in demand, to supporting smaller institutions in delivering expected learning experiences through our rigorous evaluation methods and expertise. ADE also has experience in evaluating vocational training programmes.

Within ADE country-level evaluations, a strong component is often related to the health sector. These evaluations aim to share lessons learned from studying health infrastructure as well as individual health practices, recognizing the importance of health services in social and human development.
ADE has also developed expertise in the evaluation of healthcare policies in the European context through the study of the Belgian health at school system, with a special focus on inequalities of access to health services and the analysis of the financial and human resources of the sector.
