We are pleased to announce that our ADE team has finalized the Early-Stage Evaluation of the Mobilizing Finance for Forests (MFF) Program!
The MFF program – launched by the UK Government with support of the Dutch government as of 2024, and managed by the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) – is a blended finance initiative launched to catalyze private sector investment in Forest and Sustainable Land Use projects. Its overarching goal is to combat deforestation and promote forest conservation in critical tropical regions.
This evaluation applies a mixed-methods approach to deliver an early-stage assessment of program implementation. It identifies key areas for improvement, offering strategic guidance for the design of future program phases and long-term sustainability.
The evaluation was conducted by Detlev Puetz and provides valuable insights into the program’s impact, sustainability, and its potential to scale climate-resilient solutions.
We invite you to explore the report and join us in reflecting on the impactful work combatting deforestation by deploying blended finance and technical assistance.
