ADE, in partnership with hera, has completed an evaluation of Belgium’s approach to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), commissioned by the Belgian Special Evaluation Service.
The evaluation combined a review of international evidence and academic research, an analysis of Belgium’s SRHR portfolio across bilateral, multilateral and non-governmental channels, and case studies in Benin, Burkina Faso, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A participatory approach was used throughout the process.
At a time when sexual and reproductive rights are facing increasing challenges in many parts of the world, we hope this evaluation will contribute to informed dialogue and help Belgian and international actors continue to strengthen their efforts in support of SRHR.
