EU-Gender in Humanitarian Assistance- Evaluation published

ADE conducted the Evaluation of the European Union’s implementation of DG ECHO Thematic policy Document: “Gender: Different Needs, Adapted Assistance” of July 2013.

 

The evaluation covered Gender Mainstreaming (including the Gender-Age Marker (GAM) developed by DG ECHO), Targeted Actions (in Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)) and Capacity Building (including the EU leadership of the Call to Action on Protection from gender-based violence in Emergencies and the Enhanced Response Capacity (ERC) program).

 

Case studies were conducted in Nigeria, Palestine and Bangladesh (Cox’s Bazar).
