The new CAP is coming into effect for the period 2023-2027 and pursues the goal of being a fairer, greener, a social and more performance-based CAP. To implement the new CAP, each EU-27 Member State (MS) drafted a CAP Strategic Plan (Belgium has two distinct CAP SP, one for Flanders and one for Wallonia).

In this framework, ADE in collaboration with ÖIR GmbH (consortium leader), is conducting a research project commissioned by the European Parliament titled “Comparative analysis of the CAP Strategic Plans (SP) and their effective contribution to the achievement of the EU objectives”. This study will compare the CAP interventions of the 28 CAP Strategic Plans across Member States and assess their strengths and weaknesses against the general and specific objectives of the new CAP and the wider EU environmental and climate ambitions.
