Training

ADE has significant experience in designing and delivering training courses for different clients. These trainings cover a broad range of topics, related to Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Finance Management, and Impact Evaluation.

ADE has successfully managed successive training programmes for the European Commission’s DG for International Partnerships (DG INTPA, formerly known as DEVCO) over a ten-year period. These trainings aimed at improving the quality of EU external assistance in terms of relevance, effectiveness, feasibility, and the evaluation of EU-funded projects and programmes.  Another example is a course on impact evaluation in practice developed by ADE, taught in three European universities.

In the Methodological and Knowledge Sharing programme (MKS 2008-2019), ADE trained several experts on a broad range of topics, designing the curricula, producing the material, delivering courses face-to-face, virtually, or in a hybrid format and organising webinars.

Participants trained include EU staff at headquarters and Delegations, civil servants of African countries, bilateral cooperation agencies, and NGOs.  Training courses focused among other things on public finance management reform, fiscal management, blending (notably through investment facilities), public policies and support, and on evaluation and monitoring.
