The Public Finance and Blending Team manages the acquisition and implementation of projects in the area of public finance, macroeconomics, budget support, and innovative finance.

Main responsibilities
- Support the preparation of calls for tender
- Support the preparation of the call for tender Service for EU’s external action 2023
- Updating the CVDB database and the case files.
- Carrying out administrative tasks related to the activities requested: drafting of notes and reports, feeding of monitoring tables
- Participate in other business development activities
Profile
- Interested in development finance, public finance management and/or macroeconomics.
- Studying for a bachelor/master’s degree in management, economics, public finance management, public administration, international relations or related fields in development cooperation
- With an excellent level of written and spoken English; knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a strong asset
- With good command of the main computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- With good writing and synthesis skills
- With strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- With good organizational and planning skills
Skills you will develop during this intership
- Become familiar with the company’s business development policy and strategy
- Understand the operation and regulatory framework of public procurement
- Become familiar with development cooperation practices of internal donors
- Become technically acquainted with topics such as public finance management and development finance
- Identify and exploit relevant sources of information
- Know the technical and methodological tools for drafting calls for tender
- Mastering office tools, particularly Excel, and database management programmes
- To carry out administrative tasks in relation to the activities requested: drafting of notes and reports, feeding of follow-up tables
