LOT LOT 1 - Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Resilience

Cat. II expert no. 2:

  • University degree in agricultural economics or equivalent, such as a combination of a degree in agriculture/food security/rural development and a degree in economics
  • Proven experience in agricultural economics, in particular cost-benefit analysis (cf. evaluation questions)
  • Minimum six years of experience in evaluation of development interventions on sustainable management of natural resources, agriculture, food security and/or rural development
  • Proven experience in M&E evaluations of donor-funded development interventions in which the government/public sector is the leading implementing partner
  • Proven functional knowledge of EU EDF rules and procedures
  • Proven communication and reporting skills
  • Working experience in the Horn of Africa and knowledge of the Eritrean context considered an advantage

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (i.e. C level in understanding, speaking, writing)
  • Knowledge of other languages used in Eritrea considered an asset
